It is my pleasure to write this commendation in support of Dustay Construction of Cranbrook, B.C. My wife and I decided to have a retirement home built in the Kimberley area. I met with Rocco Potorti to discuss the potential to build our home.Within the hour we agreed that Dustay Construction was our choice as the builder. Rocco gave us a first estimate of costs based on the square footage and a time line for construction and ultimate completion time. He held to the cost estimate and time line throughout the project. The quality of workmanship was superb and the project was completed without a hitch. We rquested a number of changes during construction, they were implemented without delay or additional cost. All subtrades were held to a high standard of performance and timely work schedule.

We found the project to be a most enjoyable and amicable experience, I would most heartly recommend Dustay Construction to any prospective client without reservation. We now live in our beautiful retirement home with pride and comfort.

 

Rocko and Denise Potorti of Dustay Construction, recently completed the building of our home. I am very pleased with the out come and highly recommend Rocko as a builder. He is experienced, knowledgeable, and conscientious. He works steadily with no time wasted. In addition he keeps the job site clean and disposes of all trash items.

He managed all the trades and sub-contractors well and coordinated their work so  that their labour was completed in a timely manner. All building inspections were scheduled and carried out successfully, with virtually no changes requested. Rocko’s assistants on the job worked well with him and reflected his attention to detail and quality. He is also an accomplished landscaper and did a beautiful job with the exterior landscaping!

Rocko is a pleasant, congenial person and I was very comfortable discussing the details of the project with him. His suggestions were both useful and helpful. He has my highest recommendation and I hope I have an occasion to work with him again in the future.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your employees for the outstanding job you did in the construction of our home at Koocanusa Ranch.

When we first undertook to build a home 400 km from where we live, our primary concern was how could we possibly supervise the construction and ensure quality from such a distance. Clearly we had to find a builder that we could trust to deliver the project without cutting corners and without supervision. We had heard many horror stories of builders that could not be trusted, and frankly we were very concerned. Luckily we found Rocko of Dustay Construction Ltd. We can honestly say that we were completely impressed with the integrity and dedication to workmanship that they brought to the project every day.

It is now over a year since completion of construction and again we are totally impressed with the after completion service. Yes, there was a couple of minor issues that came up, but in each case Rocko stepped up to the plate and without hesitation each issue was dealt with immediately, professionally, and without reluctance.

We do intent to build again in the future and we would be very proud to have Rocko,Denise, and their employees build our next home as well.

I would recommend Dustay Construction of Cranbrook, BC wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a new build or wanting to renovate an existing property.

They provide a great product, they are efficient and they do stand behind their product as do the trades that they work with. We moved into our new home on December 15, 2007 as promised!

I have worked in the Real Estate industry in Cranbrook and area since 1991 and have lived here since 1967 and I have seen that the homes that that they construct have sold well and many of them have sold even before construction has commenced!
